Mr. MOHAN GOPAL, Chief Director of the World Bank Law Department, talks with international law students about WB, IMF and WTO on June 22, 2004. An hour-long discussion was held at the meeting, chaired by Professor Zuo Haicong. Mr. MOHAN GOPAL is an Indian and has worked at the World Bank since 1986. He is also the director of the Indian National Law School and a visiting professor at the University of Georgia. In just one hour, Mr. MOHAN GOPAL responded to several questions raised by graduate students, including the relationship between WB and IMF, the relationship between WTO and IMF, the relationship between law and development, the cooperation between WB and IMF in development in India, and overview of the law and risk control of World Bank loans.
