In order to encourage and attract the construction of the legal and policy support system for the development of innovative national construction goals in China's colleges and universities, we will combine the academic research of social sciences with social practice to support the research of outstanding young talents in intellectual property. The activity provides an academic exchange platform for doctoral students of intellectual property in universities across the country to promote and strengthen the cultivation of high-end talents in intellectual property disciplines in China.

The Peking University Intellectual Property Institute and the Peking University Science and Technology Law Research Center will jointly hold a national academic forum on doctoral intellectual property rights. The program has held a permanent academic forum on intellectual property rights since 2010, once a year. The theme of the 2010 (first) National Doctoral Intellectual Property Forum was identified as “Innovative Development and Intellectual Property”.

We will hold the 2010 (first) National Doctoral Intellectual Property Forum in Beijing China Technology Exchange (16th Floor, Block B, China Technology Exchange Building) at 8:00 on August 22nd. We invite national universities to study (including 2010). Graduated with a Ph.D. student in intellectual property. At the same time, the “2010 National Doctoral Student Intellectual Property Essay Competition” was held, and an award ceremony for outstanding papers was held at the forum.

The boarding party will undertake the accommodation and transportation expenses of the PhD students who are invited to participate in Beijing (the hard sleeper of the train from the school to Beijing). Students who are interested in participating in this doctoral student forum shall send the receipt to the organizing committee email address: stlcpku@163.com before June 20, 2010. At the time of registration, please send your ID card and student ID card to the doctoral students.
