The Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot has a far-reaching impact in the field of international law and has been in existence for 22 years. Each year, it attracts hundreds of famous law schools from all over the world. In 2014-2015, about 300 law schools from more than 60 countries participated in the competition. The judges are composed of law professors, lawyers and arbitration practitioners from various countries. During the competition, various viewpoints and ideas are fully exchanged, collided, integrated and penetrated here. Friendship and competition promote each other. It is a grand event in the international commercial arbitration community.
In order to reflect the development tenet of Wuhan University to build a "high-level university with Chinese characteristics, world-class, internationally renowned", expand the international influence of Wuhan University Law School and Wuhan University International Law Institute, and strive to cultivate talents with international competitiveness in Wuhan University. Under the guidance of the University of Wuhan, the Vis moot team is expected to conduct the interview selection of the 23rd team members in the law school on the morning of September 26 (the time and place will be subject to SMS notification). Undergraduate students (12, 13), masters and doctoral students are welcome to register. The registration conditions are as follows:
1. Interested in international commercial law and international commercial arbitration law, and has a certain foundation and understanding of them.
2. The curriculum pressure is not great, the spare time is sufficient, can bear hardships and endurance, and is mentally prepared for the high-intensity training and study of the simulation of the International Commercial Arbitration Court.
3. Have excellent English proficiency, including clerical writing and oral debate.
4. Have a team spirit and be able to work with teammates.

1. Please fill in the English resume in the attached file.
2. Please carry out legal search and legal opinions according to the circumstances and requirements in the attachment, and write an English analysis of 800 words or more around the viewpoint (limited to the length, the briefing only excerpts part of the facts and evidence of the 22nd competition, details of the case Not included in it).
After preliminary review of the submitted materials, some students will be screened for an English interview. The interview is intended to assess the ability of the interviewer to speak and analyze the case in English. Therefore, each student is required to prepare an oral statement of about 7 minutes based on the submitted content. During the presentation period, the interviewer will interrupt at any time and ask questions. Each student will have an interview time of about 20 minutes.
