Professor Ryan Muller has been the Dean of the Law School of Tallinn University in Estonia since 2010. Prior to this, he was a professor of international law at King's College London (1994-2009), a visiting professor at the London School of Economics and Political Science (1992-94), the first deputy minister of the Islamic Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1991-92), and a member of the UN Human Rights Commission. (1988-92), Gorbachev Legal Affairs Adviser (1987-1991).
Professor Ryan Muller is an internationally influential expert in international law. He has 11 books on international law and international politics, and more than 200 articles in academic journals. His representative works include Human Rights Diplomacy (1996), "Central Asia: A Chessboard and Player in the New Great Game, 2007"). His latest book is "Democracy: The Future of Mankind? (Democracy – A Destiny of Humankind? A Qualified, Contingent and Contextual Case for Democracy Promotion, 2009).
