The Willem C. Vis Moot International Commercial Arbitration Tribunal Competition has a profound impact on international law and has been around for 25 years. Each year, it attracts hundreds of famous law schools from all over the world. In 2017-2018, more than 300 law schools from more than 60 countries participated in the competition. The judges are composed of law professors, lawyers and arbitration practitioners from various countries. During the competition, various viewpoints and ideas are fully exchanged, collided, integrated and penetrated here. Friendship and competition promote each other. It is a grand event in the international commercial arbitration community.
In order to reflect the development tenet of Wuhan University's construction of "Chinese characteristics, world-class, internationally renowned high-level universities", the results show the "double first-class" construction achievements of Wuhan University Law School, and expand the international influence of Wuhan University Law School and Wuhan University International Law Institute. Under the guidance of Wuhan University, which is committed to cultivating internationally competitive talents, the Wuhan University Vis moot team is expected to conduct the interview selection of the 26th team members on May 6th at the law school (subject to the SMS notification). Undergraduate students (15th grade, 16th grade), master's degree students and doctoral students are welcome to apply. The registration conditions are as follows:
1. Interested in international commercial law and international commercial arbitration law, and has a certain foundation and understanding.
2. The curriculum pressure is not great, the spare time is sufficient, and it is able to bear hardships and stand hard work. It is mentally prepared for the high-intensity training and study of the simulated international commercial arbitration court.
3. Excellent English skills, including clerical writing and oral debate.
4. Team spirit and ability to work with teammates.

The interview is intended to assess the ability of the interviewer to speak and analyze the case in English. Therefore, each student is required to prepare an oral statement of about 5 minutes based on the submitted content. During the presentation period, the interviewer will interrupt at any time and ask questions. Each student will have an interview time of about 20 minutes.
