[Editor's note] Dr XU Hong, an alumnus of the Institute of International Law of Wuhan University, is now serving as the Chinese ambassador in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. On May 1, he published an open letter in the Dutch newspaper Het Financieele Dagblad.
