In order to improve the quality of international law professionals, strengthen the self-learning and collective discussion of doctoral students, to cultivate more and better international law talents, consolidate the knowledge base of doctoral students, improve the academic quality, scientific research ability and thesis writing level of doctoral students. Professor Xiao Yongping, Director of the Institute of International Law, Professor He Qisheng, Vice President of the School of Law, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Law, and Professor Huang Zhixiong, Deputy Director of the Institute of International Law, organized the concentrated study and research conference in the 323 Teaching and Research Section of the School of Law on the afternoon of June 15th , 2017.
The meeting mainly discussed the institutional arrangements for doctoral students' concentrated learning and its specific measures, and extensively consulted the opinions and suggestions of the doctoral students. In conjunction with some doctoral students' suggestions, the meeting decided to discuss: select the liaison from the doctoral students to issue notices, and communicate the specific requirements of the centralized learning system and doctoral advice, improve the relevant facilities in the study area for doctoral students, provide a better environment, and arrange teachers of the Institute of International Law to answer questions during the concentration of doctoral students.
At the meeting, it was decided to further study and discuss the regulations and specific implementation plans for the doctoral students' centralized learning system, with a view to implementing the system as soon as possible.
