"China Social Science" No. 5, 2018, published the article "The Community of Human Destiny: The Contemporary Development of the Basic Theory of Social Law in International Law" by Professor Zhang Hui. According to the article, in the traditional understanding, the social foundation of the emergence and existence of international law can be summarized as the international society. Recently, many scholars believe that the development of inter-state relations shows that the international community has transformed into a global international community. The concept of the community of human destiny is the innovative development of the theory of the international community, reflecting China's re-recognition of the social foundation of international law, which is of significance to the theory and practice of international law, and of important value for China's participation in the transformation of the global governance system.
